Silvermoon
forty-nine moons | female | nightclan | leader | bisexual
Silvermoon silver fur is splashed with white on her tail, paws and chest. Faint streaks of white seep in part of her silver pelt, which is soft and medium-long in length. She carries a beautiful long tail which she has received from her maine-coon mother. She has a lithe body structure, yet it is still packed with muscles.
Silvermoon is loyal. She has shown this countless times and will do it over and over again to prove it. Her clan goes first, and she goes second. She is someone who finds romance between a cat of another clan disgusting and quite frankly disrespectful towards the clan. She isn't one who forbids love in general, just ones that do only bad things to the clan ( falling for a cat outside her clan) Silvermoon is a cat who can get work done with or without company, able to be social yet independent. She is known for her wit and charm to her clan, strict when needed though relaxed when the moment is right. To outsiders, she is fierce and snappy. She is one who won't trust a cat who wants to join unless they show it deeply, not just by saying a few silly words. That means little to nothing to her. She is incredibly brave, she would jump in the flames of hell and war if it means to protect her clan. For this reason, she is defensive of her clan and doesn't share any information on them, even to the other leaders. She remains mysterious, just as she like it. "Keep them guessing" kind of way is the one she prefers. Hit a nerve of hers and you're bound to get snapped at, espically if she doesn't know you. Cats that she doesn't know very well are more suseptable to her viscous tongue. Silvermoon's a ruthless fighter, one that she be reckoned with if you are forced to go up against her.
Born inside the clan to a loving mother and three siblings, it was rare that she got time to do her own thing. She was always keen on listening to the elders stories or watch the warriors and apprentices train as a kit. When she became a apprentice, she and her sister, poppypaw, got to go on a patrol with their mentors. Unfortunately, they crossed paths with a rouge that she would soon find out to be her father. He was violent and evil, and he killed her sister. It was at that time that her mother didn't want to tell her remaining children about them, but knew if she didn't someone else would. Silvermoon felt deeply betrayed, and after that she and her mother weren't close. It was a few moons later that her father struck again, smuggling her brother, Birdpaw out of the territory and never to be seen again. When she and her brother were announced warriors, he took that time to say that he was going to go to live as a kittypet. Silvermoon felt like her family were just a bunch of awful cats that didn't belong with the clan. She still feels bitter towards Lucas & Feathersplash, though wonders where Birdpaw is.

• Awakened by only the piercing yowl of a clan mate, the clan leader's eyes snapped open and she immediately rose to my paws. She turned her head around, looking around with urgency to see who had cried out.
Seeing no one round who seemed to be in any kind of pain, she quickly wove herself out of her den to be greeted by the bared fangs of a badger, as well as the night guard cowering underneath a mess of bushes. He shook violently, and she could see a scarlet drop of blood running down his left cheek. Her breath was hitched in her throat, fear coursing through her veins as she watched in horror as the predator rambled through camp, tearing up whatever was in it's path.
A creature of death and destruction, badger's were to be ignored at all costs, though as it neared the nursery, Silvermoon couldn't stop herself. Tearing up the ground with her unsheathed claws, She let out a piercing yowl and lunged at the beast. It let out its own cry as her ivory claws dug into its thick skin, past it coarse black hair that ran down its sides. her lips pulled back in a menacing snarl, fangs glinting in the moonlight as the badger rose to its hind legs, thrashing around violently, trying to rid her from it's back.
It's long claw suddenly came into the female's vision, but it was too late. The beast swiped at the leader, knocking her to the ground and taking all the breath from her. Her left shoulder was already coated in blood, and she weakly looked around as the badger stepped forward, ready to give me the final blow. She saw the terrified looks of the kits in the nursery and something surged through me, a newfound energy flooding and pulsing through jer blood. She knew what Sje needed to do; Silvermoon needed to fight to defend her clan or die trying.
Lifting herself to her legs once again, she gave her head a quick shake before dodging from the clumsy swipes of the creature, narrowly missing, though getting a rough snag on the ear. It let out another shriek, and as cats suddenly aiding her sides. Leaping into action, the nightclan leader lunged once again at the badger, barely noticing as others followed suit.
It was a flurry of roaring and blood, and she could see a few cats already falling, though she could also see the badger weakening. She wouldn't let this badger take the lives of her clan mates, and with a loud roar, and leapt onto the the back of it, sinking my fangs into its shoulder just as other cats did too. It let out one last cry, inraged and furious at the cats before collapsing to the ground with a thud.
Silvermoon grimaced, and it was then that she had realized all the pain she was in. Her ear rang violently, and her pelt was coated in blood. She wasn't sure if it was herd, the badger, or her clan mates. The silver female weakly stepped forwards as the medicine cat aided her, and was thankful to see that their wasn't many who were severely hurt. The leader lowered her head to the ground in exhaustion as the medicine cat did their thing, placing cobwebs over the female's bleeding shoulder and ear. She only barely heard them give instructions on what she could or couldn't do since she had injuried myself, though the she-cat only asked one question.
"Is everyone fine?" Silvermoon asked them, concerned. a smile appeared on their faces, nodding and saying that only a few were truly injured. Her clan was truly important, she would protect them with her life. Her vision went a bit fuzzy after that, the females tiredness taking over herself as she became overwhelmed by a pool of black flooding her vision. Her breathing became less intense and she relaxed as she escaped reality, diving into the dream world. It seemed that her troubles still visited her even there, though it didn't last long. She knew what the cats had said, and it relaxed her. Everyone was fine. Her clan was her everything. Her drive, her passion, her comfort. It was like a family that hadn't betrayed her, and hadn't disappointed her.
It was Nightclan.
It was her home.
